EVENT: Traversing 100 South Island Peaks with Mal Law.

Mal Law Hiking through New Zealand's South Island

Come join Montane New Zealand Ambassador, Mal Law, as he talks all about his new project the "South Island 100," a journey through Te Waipounamu, climbing 100 peaks along the way.

The ’South Island 100’ project, is a human-powered traverse of Te Waipounamu taking in 100 named peaks along the way.

Preferring the path less trod, Mal is climbing peaks rather than staying in the valleys, this ambitious project is what Mal calls his “alternative Te Araroa trail”.

He kicked it off recently by spending 16 days traversing the wilds of Kahurangi National Park and has plenty of tales and cracking pics to share.

So come along for an evening of chats about all things adventures and getting off the more well-known track. How to self-plan, what goes into organising an adventure like this and where he's off to next!
