Come along to this informative evening to learn what trekking in Nepal and the Himalaya is all about and some handy tips for gear and physical preparation. This will be a fun event covering lots of the who/what/where/when and whys as well as a few laughs, along with a healthy dose of adventure stories from Wanda’s many trips to this incredible country.
Please send some of your questions ahead of time so that we can cater the presentation to cover as much as we can.
NEW BONUS!! Georgia Merton will be joining Wanda to show a short film about her travels on her bike through the mountains of Pakistan. I have watched 'Inshallah', and it is amazing! What a treat to have two amazing women talk about such a special part of the world that is on my and many others' bucket lists.

About Wanda:
With more than 40 trips to Nepal, Christchurch-based guide Wanda Vivequin has a deep understanding and connection to this Himalayan country. Her desire to visit Nepal started early – telling her father she aspired to be New Zealand's high commissioner to Nepal aged 12! Since a solo trip in 2000, Wanda has visited Nepal every year (apart from an enforced Covid break), travelled and guided in some of the country's most remote and challenging regions, worked on two Lonely Planet guidebooks, engaged in substantial philanthropic projects and calls this country her second home.
